CGS3 Partners Recognized for Legal Excellence, Leadership and Contributions to the Commercial Real Estate Industry

SAN DIEGO (August 19, 2026) – In recognition of their accomplishments, leadership and contributions to the San Diego legal profession and business community, two Crosbie Gliner Schiffman Southard & Swanson LLP (CGS3) partners – Priya Huggett and Amelia Sanchez – have been named 2026 Women of Influence in Law by the San Diego Business Journal.

The annual Women of Influence in Law program, featured in the San Diego Business Journal’s Aug. 24 edition, celebrates accomplished women attorneys who have distinguished themselves through professional achievement, leadership and service to their clients and communities.

“We are thrilled to see Priya and Amelia recognized for the exceptional attorneys and leaders they are,” said CGS3 founding partner Sean Southard. “Both bring tremendous depth of experience, sophisticated business insight and a steadfast commitment to delivering the highest level of service to their clients. Their leadership and contributions are a tremendous asset to CGS3 and the broader commercial real estate industry.”

Huggett joined CGS3 as a partner in 2022 following her role as general counsel of Brixton Capital. She brings extensive experience across the full spectrum of commercial real estate, representing clients in acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, finance and operations involving multifamily, retail, residential, hospitality and office assets. Her practice focuses on sophisticated corporate, commercial and real estate transactions, including private equity investments, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial agreements ranging from vendor and licensing contracts to complex strategic arrangements. Her in-house experience gives her a particularly valuable perspective on the business, operational and legal considerations shaping complex transactions.

Promoted to partner in 2022, Sanchez joined CGS3 in 2015 as senior counsel. With more than two decades of commercial real estate and transactional experience spanning both law firm and in-house roles, she advises national, regional and local companies across virtually every major asset class. Sanchez has developed particular expertise in commercial leasing, representing clients in retail, office, financial, life science, mixed-use, industrial, telecommunications and solar transactions, as well as in purchase and sale transactions and a broad range of corporate and business matters. Before joining CGS3, she served as senior legal counsel for Cricket Communications in San Diego and held positions with Newland Communities and Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton.

The recognition of Huggett and Sanchez underscores CGS3’s continued commitment to cultivating strong women leaders and providing clients with sophisticated, business-minded counsel across the full commercial real estate lifecycle.
