Chanel Di Blasi Honored by SD Metro Magazine
SAN DIEGO – Crosbie Gliner Schiffman Southard & Swanson (CGS3) attorney Chanel Di Blasi has been named among San Diego’s “Top 40 Under 40” for 2023 by SD Metro, a longtime San Diego business magazine.
This marks the 24th year SD Metro has honored San Diego’s top young professionals. A feature highlighting all the honorees was published in the May issue of the magazine.
With a strong background in a broad range of landlord-tenant and business real estate disciplines, throughout her career Di Blasi has effectively represented landlords and helped them navigate the dense maze of California regulations – with a particular emphasis on residential and commercial landlord-tenant disputes, leasing, contracts, affordable housing, and compliance. Known for her client responsiveness, efficiency and encyclopedic knowledge of California’s landlord-tenant laws, she takes pride in helping clients with complex and challenging legal needs.
Prior to joining CGS3, she was an associate attorney at Kimball, Tirey & St. John in San Diego, working in its landlord-tenant department as part of its management team, and assisting property owners and managers with their landlord-tenant disputes. She later joined the firm’s business real estate group, specializing in leasing, pre-litigation disputes, and business needs.
Dedicated to educating others on the commercial real estate practice and California laws, she speaks frequently at industry conventions, hosts webinars and writes articles for [industry publications] [NTD: I wrote articles for KTS publish on their website, Linkedin, and to educate clients. Also active in the community, she has regularly donated time and resources to local woman’s and homeless shelters, including Rachel’s Women’s Center and the Los Angeles Mission and recently joined Big Brothers Big Sisters to serve as a mentor. She is involved with the SDSU Alumni association and is also a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and the Lawyers Club of San Diego.
Di Blasi holds a J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in television, film and news media production from San Diego State University.
