Crosbie Gliner Schiffman Southard & Swanson (CGS3) partners Priya Huggett and Amelia Sanchez have been honored by the San Diego Business Journal as 2025 Business Women of the Year Finalists.

Each year the San Diego Business Journal recognizes influential San Diego businesswomen – publicly acknowledging their contributions, accomplishments and community commitment. This year, finalists are featured in the Nov. 25 edition of the publication and winners will be announced at the Business Women of the Year Awards event, to be held at The Westin San Diego Bayview on Wed. Dec. 11.

According to CGS3 founding partner Sean Southard, both Priya and Amelia are leaders in commercial real estate law and actively involved in the community. “Both of these professionals are core members of the CGS3 legal team and each of them are highly regarded for their ability to assist our clients in achieving core business objectives, resolving complex issues, and successfully closing high profile transactions.”

Joining CGS3 as partner in 2022, Huggett was previously the general counsel of Brixton Capital, a private real estate investment firm with more than $1 billion in assets. Additionally, she served as general counsel and executive vice president for Kelly Investment Group and as senior vice president/general counsel for Sea Breeze Properties, LLC and launched her commercial real estate career as an attorney for Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP and Solomon Ward Seidenwurm and Smith LLP.  With experience in acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, finance and operations covering multifamily, retail, residential, hospitality and office assets, her practice emphasizes corporate/commercial and real estate transactions – particularly private equity, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and commercial contracts including vendor and licensing contracts.  She currently serves on the board of directors for the San Diego chapter of NAIOP and was previously served on the board of directors for the new Children’s Museum. Additionally, she has provided pro bono legal services for Casa Cornelia, a public interest law firm which provides free legal services to victims of human and civil rights violations.

Sanchez joined CGS3 as senior counsel in 2015 and was promoted to partner in 2022.  With over two decades of commercial real estate and transactional experience – including both in-house and law firm positions – she has successfully represented national, regional and local companies in all asset categories,  advising business clients on leasing transactions that include retail, office, financial, life science, mixed use, industrial, telecommunications and solar leases and on purchase and sale transactions – as well as handling a variety of business and transactional matters.  Prior to joining CGS3, she was senior legal counsel for Cricket Communications in San Diego and also worked at Newland Communities and Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton, representing commercial real estate clients. Co-founder of the SES Tennis Center, a non-profit, she supported the building of public tennis courts and supports the children of Tecate, Mexico with access to tennis lessons, equipment, and transportation through her organization.  She helps organize an annual pro-am tournament to raise funds for both the SES Tennis Center and other local non-profits.
