SAN DIEGO (November 8, 2021) – Crosbie Gliner Schiffman Southard & Swanson LLP (CGS3) partners Greg Markow and Tom Crosbie have been named finalists in the San Diego Business Journal’s “Leaders in Law” awards for 2021.

This annual tribute spotlights top attorneys from throughout San Diego County.

Markow heads up CGS3’s busy litigation practice, representing commercial real estate investors, developers, owners and property management companies looking to minimize risks that lead to litigation and defending them forcefully when disputes cannot be avoided.  From the beginning of the pandemic last year, Markow led CGS3 in developing a COVID-19 Legal Task Force – comprised of multi-disciplined attorneys with expertise in real estate, finance, litigation, construction, tax and creditor’s rights to monitor, track and advise clients on quickly changing laws, regulations and market conditions affecting their responsive strategies and bottom line.

A CGS3 founding partner, Crosbie has extensive expertise in a broad variety of commercial real estate areas, including acquisitions and dispositions, financing, leasing and construction in connection with commercial, residential, industrial, retail and mixed-use projects for local, regional and national real estate developers and investors.  He also has vast expertise in all aspects of ground-up development and redevelopment projects, including drafting and negotiating development agreements, CC&Rs, REAs, construction contracts and design contracts for commercial, industrial, multi-family residential and mixed-use projects.
