An accomplished land use and environmental attorney, Heidelberg’s former work as a city planner laid a firm groundwork for her current profession. Throughout her career, she has leveraged skills to help developers obtain city, county and Coastal Commission entitlements, and defeated administrative and court challenges to client’s development projects.

Active in professional and community organizations, she serves on the legislative committee of Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP) and works to advance the professional development of women attorneys and women in the real estate industry through participation in the Urban Land Institute’s Women’s Initiative. Heidelberg also serves on the Boards of Directors of two non-profits: the City Ballet of San Diego and Home Start — supporting the performing arts and strengthening families in order to protect children.  She provides legal advice to both those organizations.
