Licensed to practice law in Brazil, Claudia Alvares plays a key role in the CGS3 legal team, parlaying 15 years of extensive experience and skill into her work as a senior paralegal. Her knowledge of complex real estate finance, sales, and purchases, as well as her ability to carefully balance the challenging demands of multiple attorneys, make her an invaluable asset to every client she works with.
Fluent in English and Portuguese, Claudia's varied legal background includes high-level back leverage, construction and debt finance work with lenders, loan syndicators, and servicers; real estate work with owners, investors, and developers; and sale-leaseback, ground lease, initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, solar and wind renewables, and tax equity experience with solar and wind companies, investors and lenders.
Prior to joining CGS3, Claudia was a senior paralegal at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP in Los Angeles, working for the firm's Global Project Finance Group. She also honed her legal skills and knowledge as a senior paralegal at SunPower Corporation, Morrison and Foerster LLP, Reed Smith LLP, and Cox Castle & Nicholson LLP.
